0k so my bf and i have been together for 5 yrs and some change. He has two kids with another woman, and the thing is that we do not get along, at all. She prohibits him to do anything alone with kids cause she does not want me around them(maybe she feels that since i am so nice the kids would like me, i don't know) Well anyways last night i had a dream with her,my boyfriend and the kids and me. In the dream she was getting an abortion and for some reason my bf and i went to clinic with her. In the dream the kids were there too and i was playing with them and stuff. But she was so angry that i was there and my bf was just telling her that she has to accept that we are together. After the abortion we were in a car and the police stopped us and suddenly my bf decided to leave the car where the cop stopped us, all i know is that we ended up walking home. we were all walking down a hill. She was ahead of us since she was mad, and my bf and me and kids were walking behind. And then i woke.

Well for one the abortion could signal that something inside your bf's ex is about to die but she's not to happy about that because she was angry with you for being so nice with the kids. If the obortion was successful it means that the ex is going to let it go and even though she's not happy about it and she might give you some **** about it you wont have to worry about her evil attitude anymore. Because she will realize that its a lost cause and just give up. The abortion can also signify she's letting go of her kids to you. The police telling you to get out of the car means that before acceptance from the mother can be assured your going to have to walk a long way before you reach home. And if there was a lot or a little obstacles in the way then it means how tough that road for you and the ex are going to be. Walking behing the ex means that she could be one step ahead of you and is trying to stop herself from letting her children be happy with you. It can also symbolize a sort of dominance about you and her. She's the dominate one and your just following along. It can also mean that she's leading you on a false path. Look back at the surroundings and try to decipher every single color, texture, sound, and smells, basically everything. Remember what certain colors mean. I.e. red-angry, blue-sad, green-tranquil, black-death/deppresion/suicide. That could mean a multiple of things. It has no Freud symbology from what I know of besides wish fulfillment. Wish fulfillment would mean that that's what you wanted to happen. You wanted your bf to tell her to get over the fact that you were together and you want to be able to hang out with his kids (because you were walking with the kids). Jung's interpretation would focus more on the people and how you get along with them. So obviously the ex gf would be the villain. It's hard to interpret these things without getting to talk a little more so If you could send me an email I could talk with you some more and help you. From what I can tell you have a feeling of need for getting to hang out with your bf's kids and you and your bf being accepted in your exes eyes. I wouldn't put too much faith in Freud though because he has an Oedipus Conflict and was into recreational drugs. Email me about the Jung interpretation, in which I would rest more faith.

You already know what this dream means.
It is straight forward with only some metaphor, hardly a metaphor.
How about you tell someone whose opinion you trust. I say this cause I think you are looking for validation to how you see it.
Or yes, the ex is a controller and controls your bf still. And his attempt to override that contol has not worked yet, putting you and everybody else behind. Besides, you know how selfish, self centered and egotistical she is, thats the way it is with pretty ladies.

I think it means that you need to look for a way to all just get along. Seriously, if there are kids of his involved, and they have to be with you part of the time, the ex needs to let things go and realize she has to be at least civil to you. You don't have to be best friends, that hardly ever happens.
I think the walking behind thing says that you would like all of this to get behind her or you, and go on with life.
