It seems like whenever there is an argument Atheists always have the better ideas and use logic and Religious people don't.

That is just YOUR opinion! From my perspective atheists have NO logic at all. It takes a lot of blind faith to be an atheist! I have never heard a logical argument yet from them! Since logic is something they really are lacking! It is just that you do not agree with other ideas because of your bias against the existence of God. Atheists hold out no hope for mankind and lead the most self centered existence I have ever seen! The thing about atheists is that if they were to acknowledge God, they also would have to acknowledge a day where they will be accountable. That is so horrifying to them that they refuse to acknowledge this. Well, I have always said that just because you refuse to acknowledge gravity does not mean that you will not fall if you jump from a tall building. Just because you refuse to acknowledge a day of judgment does not mean you will not be judged!

Atheists have not learnt that logic does not apply to Faith. Equally faith cannot use logic. The two just don't speak the same language. It may be seem a better argument from a logical point of view, but sheer rubbish from a Faith point of view.

Its just the same as if children tried to tell Einstein he'd got it all wrong. They don't understand field equations or the citations from the textbook of advanced theoretical physics and he cannot express them in language a child could understand. As the children are in the majority, he cannot defend himself! So he would probably be reduced to saying when you get older you will see that I'm right.

All religions are based on faith and faith is not logical but it is very very human. Faith is like love, not logical, almost irrational and almost impossible to live without.

The atheism and religion can't really argue well against each other because it's like an apples and oranges comparison. Be open minded and don't be afraid to tell the Evangelists to get stuffed (no one owns the truth). If you know right from wrong and try to deal with the world with an unprejudiced heart you're half way to finding what every religion offers. And if want to attribute that peace and happiness to a supernatural being then that's your choice.

The key word is "logic" however many scientists come to the conclusion of "a creator" I also use logic, call God "blisskeeper" (all inclusive) because Tao, Mohammed, and Moses are not up there looking for Jesus, Buddah, and say....L Ron Hubbard to kick the sh!ts outta them, if anything they are all looking down and saying "See that guy there...HE gets it!" The atheists I've known, may seem confident in their logical reasoning's, but check for teeth marks in their pillows, as the dark and empty feelings of doubt perpetually creeps up on them. Most end up on some kind of medication, or sleeping pills. The vastness of vast and the simultaneous inward shrinking to center of self is "realization of existence experience" which exudes blissful euphoric wonderment. This wonderment is the creators oxygen and what you perceive as life and death the halves of his heartbeat. A scientist elated by a discovery, is the same perceived awareness as one in meditation or prayer...its impossible to perceive it differently, we are all a clean slate as a babies day one, a product of action/reaction to others. i know this because we are all 95% the same. To know about others one only needs to look within, the deeper we look within, will always be directly proportional to the level of descernment we attain.

Religion is based on faith not logic so a logical argument will always sound better.

I believe in God and in Jesus Christ my Saviour> I can not prove there is a God any more than an Atheist can prove there is not and the Atheists takes the view that without proof there is no God. However I sometimes feel that some atheists on here also believe that there is a God but are afraid to admit it even to themselves

Thats b'coz Atheist use logic and assumptions and its not about religion. its also based on history and most of the religious history has been destroyed one way or the other. The other thing is people always listen to what they want to hear. People do not want to listen to some talk about being righteousness but they will rather listen to anything that justifies their selfishness rather than their righteousness

depends on the religion.

dogmatic religions tend to be chocked full of people trapped within the circular logic of their dogmas; they can only point to dogmans and emotion to back up their case. They tend to ack the ability to understand what a point of common reference with people of different life philosophies could even be.

religions of personal experience tend to be more like atheists in that we are able to use the objective world as a point of common reference.

"Logic is what Christians use"

Xian logic: gawddidit.

ADDENDA

"god cannot be proven 100%"

You missed a decimal point. It should be: "god cannot be proven 0.100%"

"Its just the same as if children tried to tell Einstein he'd got it all wrong. [...] As the children are in the majority, he cannot defend himself!"

That's got to be the most ludicrous Xian argument I have ever heard. You're Einstein? LOL! Hardly. You're in the minority? ROTFLMAO!

Get real. Your knee-jerk responses are given because they are all you have.

Atheists think out of the box. Theists think about the book.

Because atheists value logic above hearsay and religious people value hearsay above logic.
