I cna relate....I have long legs also!! I'm all legs. lol. But i tresure them because they are apart of me. It all depends on if you see it as a compliment or offensive. It really doesnt matter what anyone else thinks. I take it as a compliment. But good luck to you!!

It could be taken as either- he could be complimenting you and demeaning you at the same time. But honestly, unless you have a jerk as a boyfriend, he doesn't mean to insult you. He thought you would take it well and since you did, he thinks it's fine to call you Legs. But whatever you think of the matter is the most important thing- if you like being called Legs, why not? If you don't, tell him to stop.

He shouldn't call you that around anyone except the two of you. It's only complimentary to young people with low self esteem. It really is not a compliment between two mature adults. Take a hint honey!

I really don't think it's offensive at all. Maybe you should talk to your mother and ask her why she thought the nickname was offensive and demeaning.

If you think it is cute, then go ahead and like it. If he is using it in a demeaning way, then be upset, but use your judgement. You seem to have decided that he is being cute by saying it, so I'd go with it.

I think it's cute and complimentary just as you do.
It seems that your mother is just taking it wrong.

He calls you legs? That is the most retarded nickname for a girl I have ever heard, do you have some strange skin condition or something that he would call you that for?

Thats how moms are! She was probably called worse in her day, but she doesn't want her "little girl" to grow up and be thought of in an adult way.
