That's a rather loaded question, doncha think? ;) Everyone is going to say that their religion's deity is the best. It's like a bunch of kids arguing over who has the best dad. It's completely subjective and if two people have two different religions, there are going to be two different answers, so who's to say who's right and who's wrong?
I could sit down at Thanksgiving dinner and pose this question with my family. My grandparents, mother and uncles would say the Christian god (but you have to be Catholic or he doesn't care about you,) my other grandmother would say would say the Christian god (but if you worship him the Catholic way, you're nothing more than a Christianized pagan), my husband would say Odin, I'd say Gaea, my father would tell us to grow up, and my brother and aunt would tell all of us to shut up and eat. We could argue about it for the rest of our lives and forget that we're supposed to be a family and enjoy our time together. In the end, nothing would be accomplished except a lot of hate and discontent.
So, to answer your question, I feel that my religion's gods are the best for my religion. I feel that the Christian god is the best god for Christianity. For people who don't have a religion, no religion has the best god. And so forth.

There is no best god for everybody. Each person needs to choose which faith and deities they will follow. The spiritual path is yours alone to decide, others can only guide and advise. My personal path led me from christianity to Asatru'. I never felt the "calling" from the christian god, but after doing some "soul searching" realized that Thor was asking me to come home. I now follow the faith that was my ancestors' and I feel spiritually satisfied. Please, keep an open mind, learn what faiths are out there, learn what faith your ancestors' practiced (go further back then a few hundred years, if you can) and search your inner self for what makes you complete and "alive inside".

If by "best" you mean the one that actually exists, then the answer is relative to the questioner. Reality is entirely subjective. Whichever god you happen to believe in is just as real as, for example, hot buttery toast. Which is to say, not very real at all, or only as real as anything else in the reality your mind constructs from the information supplied by your senses.
Which isn't saying a whole lot really. *sigh*

no religion has the best god for crying out load! that is a stupid question to ask. each of the religions have a unique god in them, which makes them equally unique.

So long as a person does not come out of his religion to know what God is really about, he can never understand this concept. Christianity and Islam have only a recent origin. Does that mean that God was not there before? Sane thinking always eludes the religious care takers.
God assumes a new form every time He needed to set right the lot which badly deserved Him, but never knew who He was. Thus, there may be newer Gods periodically, but that is not to say that the new incarnation of Him is inferiour to His earlier ones.

I always found the Greek and Norse Gods fascinating but sadly people do not consider them legitimate gods or a legitimate religions. For now I'll stick to the Flying Spaghetti Monster. I mean who wouldn't love Beer Volcanoes and Stripper Factories :)?

When searching for truth one must continue to ask the all important question, WHY? That question will take you to the source if challenged long enough. Why must there be a GOD? Why did GOD create mankind? Why can there be only one true GOD?
For me the most important question is that of one GOD. I do not disgaree with the thought and in fact embrace it. Looking at mankind (to me) clearly shows that we cannot sustain ourselves. The idea of evolution sounds intellectual but it doesn't answer the real questions, which are the most simple ones.
How is it that everything fits so well together in the food chain? Coincidense? I hardly think so.
Why is broccili a good lung food and looks like a lung.
The point in this rabbit trail is the understanding that there appears to be intelligent design in the creation of the universe/s.Intelligent design of course mandates the question, by whom?
The idea of multiple GODs doesn't fit the bill (again my opinion) because of the first question of design.
This decussion of course can go deep into every category known to find truth so I will just say this one more thing..........never stop searching for truth, do not accept one answer as a pat answer and never feel the answer but know it through trust and commonsense.
Remember, the only true way is LOVE, find that source and you have found your answer.
Define LOVE in truth not in emotion. Seperate your emotions from your decisions and you will find GOD. I hope this helps someone.

Well two Christians or Muslim or pagans sit in there church next to each other.
Each closes his eyes and pictures God.Each one is different same church same book ultimately every human has a different picture of God in his or her head.
To Find God or Goddess a person must leave God for God. To get past image of God,For God.
Best God? The Kingdom of God is within us. So close your eyes There is your answer,What Kind of God do you deserve?
A jealous vengeful God? A peaceful Loving God?
Only a God can Worship a God.
