By exercising your mind. By that I mean learn all you can about counting calories... it's the easiest way. Once you've learned the basics, adding in a little exercise simply accelerates the weight loss. For example, which do you think is easier, having a small salad instead of a piece of cheesecake or running for 72 minutes to burn off the calories in the cheesecake? See what I mean? It takes 3500 calories to lose 1 pound of weight.
You must burn more calories than you consume to lose.

So track everything that you eat and drink, total it up to know what you are getting.
Your metabolic rate uses calories to keep your body functioning, that amount along with some exercise and controlling the amount you eat and drink will allow you to lose weight.

The best way to lose is to develop a healthy lifestyle and eat good food.
The problem with diets that give you a big, fast weight loss is that after you lose the weight you can not stay on the program and will gain back all of the lost weight faster than you lost it.

So eat well, exercise, be healthy.

I have lost about 80 pounds and have kept the weight off for over 5 years. I cut calories and fat grams to lose the weight. Try not to go over 1200 calories each day and drink lots of water and other non-sweetened drinks. Take it only one day at a time and allow yourself a treat every now and then so that the diet does not bog you down. Good luck.

There are 1 million ways, pills, treatments for losing weight. The one sure way is EAT HEALTHY! Cut out fattening snack foods and late night snacks. I used the "low cal-no cal" method. No diet is going to let you lose weight over night or in a week. Just ask a doctor or call ask a nurse at your local hospitol. The one thing you have to know is starving one's self or lettuce diets only make you lose MUSCLE as well as fat. Also, check into low sodium foods and drinks.

Eat healthy and until your full.
NO fry-ups or chocolate EVERYDAY, have them but about once a week :)
Dont miss breakfast.
Dont eat atleast 2-3 hours before you sleep, when youre sleeping you put on more fat.

In the first week you lose 5-7 pounds and then on you can lose 2-3 pounds a week. Thats the healthy way.

You can also try atkins/southbeach etc.. wich help lose more weight quicker :)
