When there is overwhelming evidence that that is exactly what they claim to be in the past, and in the present times?

Why Can't they see the failure of their prophet?

Maybe they read their own tracts and distorted version of the Bible and realized that they were deceived and really are NOT Jehovah's prophets after all.

Now lets look at the Holy Bible to see what it says about prophets. Please get your Bible and turn it to Deuteronomy 18:20-22. I will quote from the Watch Tower's own New World Translation: "However, the prophet who presumes to speak in my name a word that I have not commanded him to speak or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet must die. And in case you should say in your heart: "How shall we know the word that Jehovah has spoken ?" when the prophet speaks in the name of Jehovah and the word does not occur or come true, that is the word that Jehovah did not speak. With presumptuousness the prophet spoke it..."

Now lets see what The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society has said about False Prophets: PROPHECY (1929), p 22 :

"If these prophesies have not been fulfilled, and if all possibility of fulfilment is past, then these prophets are proven false."

How do you like this little bit of misdirection?

"Some opposers claim that JWs are flase prophets. The opponents say that dates have been set, but nothing has happened. Again, we ask, what is the motive of these critics?" (WT 3/15/86, p. 19)

Notice how, rather than respond the the claim that they are false prophets, they redirect the accusation on to the accusers by questioning their motive. lol That is so typical even! Same type of skirting we see on here everyday. The rank and file are simply following the example of the leadership.

Now, think about this:

The WT has also said, "it is not persecution for an informed person to expose a certain religion as being false". (WT 11/15/63, p.688). I would agree, except that the WT seems to think this pronouncement doesn't fit them as it should everyone else.

Want more? ". . .their prophecies to date have not come to pass; and that alone is strong evidence that they are false prophets." (Light, V. 2, p. 47) What is that saying about when you point a finger, 3 more point back at you?

Now compare that with this:

"God's faithful people on the earth emphasized the importance of the dates 1914 and 1918 and 1925. They had much to say about these dates and what would come to pass, but all they predicted did not come to pass." (Vindication, Vol. 1, p. 146)

HMMMM....so by their OWN definition, they are false prophets, when you put these two quotes together. Apparently, they once understood the real definition of "false prophet", even though they'd like to stick their heads in the sand regarding this issue today.

ok, one more: "Jehoavah. . . will put all false prophets to shame either by not fulfilling the false prediction of such self-assuming prophets or by having His own prophecies fulfilled in a way opposite to that predicted by the false prophets." (Paradise Restored, pp. 353-54)

Seems to me that Jehovah did just that. And to make sure everyone got the point, He even did so several times, because the dates they mention above are only a few examples of all the ones they actually prophesied regarding.

Do you think of the question became into an truthful one? for the period of the interview the reporter became into asking approximately being "spirit inspired" and then she snuck in "spirit directed or what not". Jehovah's Witnesses are actually not inspired of God. we've the Bible to lead us and because we use it as a instruction manual for on a daily basis life, we are directed by utilising God's holy spirit. because of this, we are the sole group of persons, or company, who can declare to be God's representatives in the international and the sole channel of verbal replace that God makes use of to relay what the Bible teaches regarding His provides. thank you returned for showing me and many others how cheating anti-JW's are in proposing who and what Christians are.
