I think it goes back to WW 1 when there was a scandal in that ammunition for the front was in short suppl. Because we are creatures of habit it was decided to change the clocks by moving the forward by one hour enabling people to get up an hour earlier without feeling the difference this is why it was aways done on a Sunday which also minimise public transport disruption. During the second world war it became double summer time. In the late 1960 about 1968 I think they they not move the clocks back from summer time and it was the longest and most horrible winter I can remember. These days the clock fall back on the last Sunday in March and spring forward on the last Sunday in March.

Well it's usually the last Sunday of October that the clocks move backwards or forwards. Just remember - Spring forward, Fall (American version of Autumn!) backwards. Seems to come round so fast these days...

yes.i do i 12 hour shift,but i will end up doing a 13 hour shift with out pay for that hour.its not fair.
