You do not have to pay a scholarship company to locate college scholarships because there are free sources out there. For example, the high school guidance office has a list of local scholarships for current students to apply for consideration. Second, there are free scholarship search engines out there. Finally, the local public library has a book listing scholarships with some not even listed on the web. I am including several free sources to locate college tuition money. Good luck!

You should never have to pay a company to help you search for scholarships. Period. It is almost definitely a scam--you can guarantee it is a scam if they are promising that you will get a scholarship.

Most reputable scholarship donors are in the scholarship business to help students with free money. If they required that you pay them first, what sense would that make?

Check with your school first and inquire about scholarship opportunities that are available.

When I was a student I used the website www.fastweb.com. It is a free service that offers free scholarship information for scholarships that you might qualify for (you will complete a survey to help them find scholarships that fit your individual affiliations and/or background).
