I always thought odd piercings took away from someone's beauty. It draws a person's eyes away from your good features to the piercing. You are a very pretty girl and you really don't need anything to accentuate it.

although in some cultures a lip piercing is attractive, it can have the opposite effect in other cultures. If it is your goal to remain exclusive to a culture then go for it. However if you with to remain cross cultural then refrain knowing you are your own person.

Wait until your 18 then think about it again. (Unless your already 18 then disregard that). Thats something that will be around for a long time, it looks good, yes, but when your 40 will it still look good?

Sure go ahead... looks fine... just make sure to have a professional piercer do it. My little sis-in-law did it with a needle herself and at got infected bad. You don't want your lip falling off.

It's not necessary, you are a beautiful young lady. If you do get one, please keep it small and simple. I have often wondered if the lip leaks milk when a person with a pierce eats cereal.
