When I first got my kitten it was crawling with fleas. She hated it, but a bathed her in a flea shampoo until I could no longer spot any fleas on her belly. It took at least 3 shampoos. Then I bought a flea collar, I have not seen a flea on her since.
They are scratching because flea bites itch. I would recommend shampooing them immediatly to get rid of these pest.

Hi, one of the best flea treatments is Frontline that's why vets recommend it.I have used this on my kitten for 5 months now and since then he has not had a single flea on him.I decided to try it after reading so many great reviews about it on here. It works fast because it stays on the cats skin so you don't have to wait for the fleas to bite the cat/kitten,just make sure to apply it to the skin only for it to be effective. It's brilliant stuff. They are scratching so much because they have so many fleas, you need to treat them asap with what ever you decide to use.Good luck.

You can buy stuff from a vets (Frontline spray) that is safe for use on puppies and kittens from 2 days of age!! So I doubt your kittens are too young to be treated!!!

Are you by any chance using products you've bought from a store? Because NO store bought products work, it's just a fact. Pet stores aren't licensed to sell the proper chemicals for flea treatment - anything you find in store is just going to be a basic pesticide that you can't expect to work. You need to go to a vets for Frontline, Revolution or the like.

You will need to talk to the vet for the proper flea treatment.

Do not use anything you can by in the store. They are too strong and dangerous to your cats.

you have to kill ALL the fleas in your HOUSE first then treat your animals. otherwise they will keep coming back.
