If you woke up in the middle of the jungle and...?

Question

What would you do if you woke up in the middle of a heavy jungle with all kinds of wild animals while it was raining and in the middle of the night, and alll you had were the following items:

1) Flashlight with 20 minutes of battery power left.
2) 9MM Handgun with 15 rounds
3) Duct tape
4) Soccer Ball (brand name Wilson)
5) Dagger
6) Hammer w/50 nails
7) Two candy bars and a bag of beef jerky (about two days worth of food)

You must be there 30 days until rescue. The jungle is full of lions, tigers, bears, coyotes, poisonous snakes, everything else. What would be the top priority thing to do and what would be the least?

Keep in mind you have no clothes on either.

I will give best answer to the person who covers all angles of survival here (or at least does better than everyone else).

Hmmmmm, well, I don't think the food supply would last that long. So first thing I would do is not eat my bait...I would take a nail and hang a piece of that beef jerky on a tree then I would wait with my 9mm for a bear or some other animal to come along and go for the bait, then I would shoot him. While I'm waiting I would use another nail or possibly the dagger to dig out one of the slugs from its casing to expose the gun powder that's inside. I would then pour it out onto a piece of duct tape so that the wind couldn't blow it away. The reason for this is because you didn't say anything about matches or a lighter. I would then use the hammer and nail to create a spark to light the gun powder which would ignite a fire from the dry branches I've placed over it. The knife could also be used to gut and skin the animal I shot so that I could eat and get fat off of him. The flashlight I would try and save to signal aircraft that might be flying overhead with an s.o.s. The ball could be used for a pillow or even a flotation device should I be near a river or lake. After stuffing myself with that creature I would then sit back, enjoy the fire and eat a piece of chocolate...

k,, i'll give it a try,, 1st i'd take my nailer and build a stick ladder up a tree,, go back down,, duct tape wilson ball to a fake body,,set it by the fire i had previously made,,to deter animals, take my candy, and beef jerkey and hide it the tree,, then i'd crawl back up with my gun and ammo,, dagger and flash light,, wait till an animal got close enough to shoot for food,,, next day Id find better shelter,, and repeat daily till i,m rescued ,, if noone was around,, who would care if you were naked,,,

1ST thing would be to look for something good to smoke, hopefully there will be some sicky somewere, then look for a pipe or rizlas
food would be finshied 1hr after that, then start to shoot up into the air hopin some1 will see, if not go look for a jungle-woman, do her for bout 1hr or two, give her nails and say that they are sliver gold. play abit of footy if i can be asked but prop sell it for anything i can get.
