No one dared so far to claim creating, or being able to create, any single thing, even a hair!! The Creator and The Sustainer of all these Creatures is One only; if there were more than one there would have been confusion in the heavens and the earth! That One is Allah (the only true God).
Can we find an explanation of the great universe? Is there any convincing interpretation of the secret of existence? We realize that no family can function properly without a responsible head, that no city can prosperously exist without sound administration, and that no state can survive without a leader of some kind. We also realize that nothing comes into being on its own. Moreover, we observe that the universe exists and functions in the most orderly manner, and that it has survived for hundreds of thousands of years. Can we, then, say that all this is accidental and haphazard? Can we attribute the existence of man and the whole world to mere chance.

one would have to subscribe to the christian mythos to believe one is going to hell. and you don't. You were a christian ( I am assuming that is what you meant by saying you had faith for 22 years) and you realized that it isn't for you. I did the same. Now I am a student of Wicca, and have been studying for the last month, reading all I can, rewriting my BOS> Anyway, if u believe in hell/ god/ satan, then u should go back to it, otherwise, do not worry about it. I believe christianity is for those who need to follow something and paganism/witchcraft has been around looooong before christianity. Christianity is men writing a book, and they could have added whatever they pleased, to make ppl believe what they wanted. I was not there when it was written, or when they say a man was nailed to the cross, so I can't say i believe. After 30 years of questioning my beliefs, the bible, and such, I decided why question anymore? I didn't fit in with christians, i am pro-choice and I got tired of the lame answers I had recieved from layppl about god,the bible and such. Good luck in your new journey.

Well the Bible says without faith it is impossible to please God. Having no faith is like saying you dont believe in Him at all. Maybe what you were praying for all that time was the wrong thing. God's not going to give us something that will hurt us or be bad for us and sometimes what we want would do just that. Try changing your prayers. Ask God to renew your faith and see what happens.

Matthew 13:31-32 (New International Version)
New International Version (NIV)
Copyright © 1973, 1978, 1984 by International Bible Society
The Parables of the Mustard Seed and the Yeast
31He told them another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. 32Though it is the smallest of all your seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and perch in its branches."
Even though you say, that you don't have faith, you DO have faith even as small as a mustard seed, if you choose to!

No, faith is not a way of saying, "You'd better believe in" anything.
Faith is a way of life for ME. My faith in God has nothing to do with you or anyone else. It is between me and God.
I won't tell you where you are or are not going.
That's up to you.

As far as Christianity goes, faith is putting all your trust in God; believing whole-heartedly that Jesus was the son of God who died to pay our debt for sin.
The reason why faith is so important is because God didn't give us definitive proof of his existence. He gave us free will to choose whether or not to believe in him for ourselves. Now if there was solid proof of his existence... there wouldn't be much of a decision to make. He made himself known to us only to the extent that we can have faith in him or not. Thus, faith comes first, then proof.
I urge you to give it another try. No one said that having faith would be easy... in fact it is very, very difficult. But this time... ask for a little help from God. For alone, we are nothing without him, so we cannot hope to do anything without him. Even if you find it a bit ludicrous, I urge you to pray and ask for a little help. Because as long as you're heart's in the right place, God will give you a hand.
I hope that you find God because a whole new world of possibilities and joy await!

No. I am sure that if there is a hell it has multitudes of faith-full souls in it shocked that they are there. You can be a very good person and have no faith whatsoever. You can also be a person of great faith and be a very loathsome human being.

You cannot say you have tried, listen go rent The Ten Commandments and watch it, I know it sounds stupid, but you have said you have tried, watch it and learn of Moses, then go to the library and get a film on Jesus, watch that and see if it doesn't touch you, you have to have an open mind, and then sit there and earnestly truly ask God to come into your life, seriously ask, if you won't open your heart and mind for God to come in, It won't happen, you have to truly know that Jesus went to the cross for our sins, you have to truly know that if we don't have The Lord in our lives we will go somewhere else, I am serious when I tell you this, I know, I have had some experiences in my life that has left absolutely no doubt of who God is, and what God has pulled me through, I was a bad alcoholic and didn't believe either, and its like God grabbed me, I know, I've seen things that no one wants to see, and it didn't happen once or twice, but three times, God definitely wanted me to come to Him, and do His work, And when I say I seen things, I was sober by then, but God had a warning for me, and now I know that people need to come to God, this world is about accepting The Lord in our lives, being saved, we are all not destroyed, those that will follow Jesus Christ will be saved from the final wrath on this sinful world, and satan will finally be sent to the firery pit.

I don't know what faith is. your last sentance sounds like living hell; with bullies.
I guess you already are in some sort of hellish fear, if you are asking outside of yourself for the big answers.
I live a fairly generous life and try not to put anyone else down and disempower them and if it does turn out that there is somebody bigger than me after I die who doesn't approve of me because I didn't have faith in them but approves of others who had faith even though they acted worse than me then I guess I'll just turn out to be very dissapointed in godly nature.

What counts in the eyes of our good and very moral God, is how much you contribute to making this a better, and more positive world. God will treat good people fairly. Eternal torture is not allowed or sanctioned, by our just and moral God. Doing good, connects you with God, whether you acknowledge it or not. Sometimes you can not find the right image of God, that works for you, God has no ego problem, and will not hold this against you.
