I think my pastor does not like me. Everytime I come up to the alter to give my offering he runs off the pulpit and goes back up when I reach my seat. I have noticed this several times each sunday. I really love this church and it is hard for me because, I say this in the most humble way I can because I think they may not be used very attractive women in the penacostal/ame church. I like to where some make and I used to be a runway model in paris. I am not a hoe and I do make eye contact with the pastor and other people in the church. Why when he sees me coming he flees! I am scared as I would love to be involved, but I don't want to cause any man temptation or have a bad reputation as a jezabel!

What could be the problem as to why he does this? Is this my fault and what can I do to stop it. I dress modestly and try not to look at men in the church. I have happend to run into him a few times where he happed to be. Does he think I am after him or something? What can I do to change?

Sounds like your Pastor has issues. Maybe dress down a little and see what happens. Here is one question [without being rude] are you deliberately making yourself look extra attractive to the men of the church including the Pastor? I mean with the make up and dressing up. Only you can answer that and be honest with yourself. Other then that take my first advice , dress down and take it easy with the make up.

If this is truly bothering you so much, I suggest that you ask to speak with your pastor about this some time. Tell that that you have noticed his behavior and you want his honest answer as to why he is reacting this way.

If he is truly a man of God, you will get a sincere reply. If not, I would find another church.

Maybe he's shy and perhaps he likes you or finds you attractive? He is human after all. And I'm sure he doesn't hate you. All I can suggest is that you confront him and try to resolve the issue in a constructive manner. If you explain yourself to him, I don't see why he wouldn't do the same and the tension would go away!

My guess is that you are being overly sensitive. It may have nothing to do with you at all.

But even if it's true...ignore it. He has his own reasons. You are not there for your pastor, you are there for God. Focus on the reason you come to Church and spend you time in prayer and reflection.

It probably isn't you, sometimes people are going throught things we don't understand. Just keep going and praying about it and it will all work out in the end. I think it is his issue and not yours. Don't bring any condemation on yourself, I think the devil is a liar, and you should just pray about it.

let me make two important points:
1.) you are probably not as attractive as you think. its discomforting that this would happen and you would think you are too attractive to be in a church.... that's a little arrogant.
2.) lord knows what "modest" is for you. i'd like an example of a typical outfit. he probably pops a johnson salute everytime he sees you.
Suggestion: stop going to be regularly indoctrinated into a pointless mind-control cult.
