I always thought there could be life on other planets. It has nothing to do with any religion that I am familiar with. It just like a logical way of thinking. There are alot of planets out there and why can;t at least some of them have some form of life. I heard on tv about a week ago that they think it possible now that there is some form of life on Mars. Perhaps some planets are in the earlier stage of evolution and some are far more advance.

Sure why not? I'm a Christian and I wouldn't be shocked to find that extraterrestrial life may exist. The fact of the matter is, humans are God's most precious creation. Therefore, everything else is either a thing or a creature (even angels). Humans are at the TOP of the creation hierarchy.

If God did create more life beyond our stars, then so be it. It just means we get more biology to learn!

My "religion" is Ethical Culture. The reason I put it in quotes is that it is not a deity-centered organization. Our motto is "deed before creed." To many of us, that's really deed instead of creed.

We generally believe in rational inquiry and scientific evidence. Hence, the inevitability of other life forms elsewhere (not necessarily on planets in our solar system, but somewhere in this vast universe) is probably taken for granted.

Do you have any idea how many solar systems are out there? Or even how many galaxies? Check out the link below.

My religion is based on myself. I make the rules because I don't allow anyone else to guide or mis-guide me.

Therefore I don't base any of my beliefs in what has not been proven.

Life on other planets has never been proven to exist.

I think the human scientists have had ample time to prove or disprove, but chose to ignore it.

Therefore I can't waste my time with it.

There are many mentions throughout history, both biblically and historically, that show that not only does life exist on other planets, but life exists on different planes of existence right here on earth.

I haven't seen this website you linked, but I'll check it out.

Actually you ARE promoting something. The website you posted.
That's called spam and it's againts Yahoo's terms of service.
Oh and by the way, as tin-foil hat websites go, this one is the worst I've seen by far.
If you're going to post something like this, at least make it a teeny bit believable...

yes,
I think if you are a free thinker you are open to everything around and do not dispel any information present.
I like to hear it all and gather it and let it sink in for a while before I make my decision.
I think he has a valid point about many things that are present in our society, all can't be coincidence...
people like to bury their heads in the sand and are afraid to believe a lot of information out there, it attacks their trust and belief in society.. most people do not handle that well.

I believe in God completely..and I have know reason to doubt life exists on other planets.

If we are the only ones that sure seems like a whole lot of wasted space!!!

Better to accept we don't know it all then try convince ourselves it's all blasphemy. that's my theory on it!
