Well you can put a piece of your soul in a fan, and it'll function normally and, if your body suffers mortal injury, you'll be tethered to the world of the living due the soul piece that's within the fan. But who in their right mind would make a fan a horcrux, I mean isn't that out in the open and rather....tacky?

The sound it makes is awesome, but don't try to stick your soul to a frozen heart...mine's still stuck and everyone else just laughs. It's at these moments I regret leaving the fan behind.

That'll probably end in a lot of blood too, since you can't exactly stick your SOUL in it. But your body will twirl in the fan untill the soul literally will come out. Then you'll have bigger problems to deal with.

You mean soul as in a ghostly vapour from what I'm guessing right?
I think your soul will just break up like steam/fog does and then rejoin and move in and out between the blades.

nothing will happen to you because your soul don't have physical body your soul is like a thought like the chips of the computer without monitor and keyboard or the cast to make it function.
