Kevin Harvick uses RCR engines (of course), how many has he lost this year?? Just seems a wee bit strange to me. If you don't like Junior, please be kind & don't bash him. Don't answer the question, no need to if you don't like him. Thanks for being a good sport.

Think about the statistics in some of these answers, How much trouble has Truex had? Harvick? Most of Truex's trouble was caught pre-qualifying. Just a thought, but truthfully ya gotta wonder. Thank to y'all for being decent in your answers!

I hope and pray it holds up. It is crazy Truex Jr only had one engine problem and two of the RCR driver had a problem but Harvick only had a cylinder go out and he made it to the end of the race but Dale Jr is running up in 2nd,3nd or 4th and he's engine blows. 7 blow engine in one season is more the a wee bit strange it is deliberate sabotage to try to make him look bad and it is not going to work. Jr is going to do great no matter what happens.

GO JR GO #88 IN 2008!!!!!!!

Well I hate to say this, but I think Jr. will blow an engine. In all reality, Atlanta is very demanding of the engines, as they go into the corners around 200 mph and this is a very long race, which high banking and fast straightaways, and I dont think that the package that DEI and RCR are using is very suitable for the track, and Jr. hasnt had very good luck with engines this season. He has had 6 DNFs out of 7 due to blown engines and or engine problems. I think this will be another one to add to the list. Dont forget that Talladega was bad for all RCR and DEI engines as all of them experienced Engine Failures or problems, with Truex Jr., Jr., Jeff Burton, all blowing engines I believe, and Harvick only finishing with 7 cylinders, and Clint Bowyer, having battery issues I believe.

I hope it lasts. If they could build a good engine he would have made the chase. Truex had several engine problems too but they seem to catch his in practice. He has started at the back several times because of engine changes.

He should do fine at this race at the other tracks the same length he hasn't had to many problems yet so hopefully everything will go good for him> I want to see him win one this season before he leaves DEI. I still kinda wonder if something isn't going on since Truex hasn't had nearly as may problems as JR but that we will never know. And yes i am a huge junior fan and his dad will always be one of my favorite drivers i ever got a chance to see

In all honesty, Its Atlanta this track is known as an engine eater. Matt kenseth lost his engine in practic, Ray evernham limits the amount of pratic his teams can do so they dont blow theirs. id say jr better be worried about his engine, theres a pretty good possiblity hes gonna lose it, hes lost it 6times this year already.

Atlanta can be run wide-open at all times. This track EATS engines for lunch. Nothing against Junior, but knowing DEI motors this year, if he can make it through without blowing up, I'll be surprised.

I'm not a big fan of JR's. I did like his dad. I was surprised to see him qualify that well. It just does not seem like he is driven right now. I can understand why. It is discouraging when you blow engines allot. Next year we'll see how talented he may really be and the myself and everyone else who does not like him can eat a bit of crow. I am interested in seeing how he does with out Tony Jr. I never liked a family combination. It makes it hard to say what you really feel. Jr has even stated he would rather lose with him than win with anyone else so that my be a big obstacle for him not winning with that team. One thin for sure is time will only tell.

Why don't you ask Teresa?
Seriously, hopefully his engine holds up. I'm not a Jr. fan, but repeated engine failures, that sucks!!
