As many of you may know, The University of North Dakota lost two members of its flight program, Annette Klosterman, a flight instructor, and Adam Ostapenko a student. My sympathy goes out to all students and staff at the University of North Dakota and to the families of the victims.

My sympathies for friends and families alike.

I urge the community to make an effort to discover the reason for the accident and understand the causes.

With knowledge, we make aviation a safer practice and two lost lives can teach us to save many.

I have been through that before, and there's nothing that makes it any easier to deal with.
