Internet research is showing that it is not a problem, but I was wondering if anyone has dealt with this. We do not plan on having children soon, but we just discovered that we were the same blood type and I have started to become concerned about it.

No, it's nothing to be concerned about. If you were O- with him being O+ then there is the possibility of RH Factor. (http://pregnancy.about.com/cs/rhfactor/a/aa050601a.htm)

My husband and I are both A+ and we have two healthy children.

No, if you are the same type you wont have any problems. What you might be thinking of is the positive and negative (Rh) factor of blood. Both you and your fiance are Rh positive. When the Rh factor is a concern is when the mom is Rh negative (you are not) and the baby is Rh positive. In that case it usually doesnt cause problems in the first pregnancy though sensitivity can occur if blood mixes, than can cause difficulties insubsequent pregnancys, but that is why they test your blood on your first prenatal visit. Very rarely parents with 2 different types of blood can cause a similar (immune) reaction when having children, again the sensitivity happens with the first child, but that child has no ill effects, but the next child might. But if there is a concern after they test your blood on your prenatal visit, they can give you an immunoglobulin shot to prevent sensitivity.
So long story short, you have nothing to worry about!

Consult a good doctor first. She may conceive. But there may be delay in conceiving. Children born under the same blood group parents may havesome kind of problem. But it is not necessarily should happen with everybody. For example, see the parsee community. They marry within the community and that is why their community is dwindling. Think it over again.

there is no problem until the wife has the -ve bleed group of any kind...

one example is my uncle and aunt who had o +ve, both of them, and now their children both boys are having o +ve.
so there is absolutely no problem.

The only thing that would happen would be that your kids would also be O+. I hope that is not a problem for you.
