Will i fail a this drug test? I smoked about 2 weeks ago?

I just got a call from cvs for a pharm tech job and they require a drug test but i smoked two weeks ago...am i going to fail? i really want this job too

i only smoke like once a month and i lift everyday at the gym..will that make a difference?

Uncertain. Depends on what test method they use, which you didn't list here. Your individual metabolism impacts the excretion rate of THC. (Provided that is what you smoked.)
There is a chance you would pass if your use is as limited as you describe, especially if you stall the test around a week.

There are ways to influence the outcome. Do net research and find out. You can also order the same test kit used by most employment screening firms and test yourself first. That is a good idea anyway since there are many lawful substances that can cause false-positives for the most common drugs usually screened.

The best solution is to not smoke, obviously. But, you'll get no lecture from me. I gave it up years ago since it isn't worth the hassle, and my Twinkie bill was higher than me. It took me about a month to get squeaky clean.

Alot of variables in an accurate answer, most of the folks here have covered them. You might pass, but dont try to adulterate the urine specimen. That can be determined as an attempt to fool the test and be grounds for it to be disqualified. There are some test kits at CVS so I understand that may give you a reasonable answer as to whether you may pass. The THC one is 20+ bucks I think.

No lecture, but think about what your doing and how much of a hassle it is if you choose to continue with such practices.

.... just a thought, and no offense meant, but I personally would not want any medicines determined for me or my children from a pharmacy employee that was under the influence of any intoxicant.

It's simple and easy buy a urine bag they.are cheap $30-90 u can get them at most head shops now and they work with probation so I know they work on job test make sure u follow the directions I've used them and have 200% positive feedback from people I've suggested this to if u think it's a joke then test this out by applying for a job u know will drug test u then use the device

Not necessarily, if you drink a lot of fluids such as cranberry juice or you drink something like turbotox you should pass.

You will not pass. Don't listen to people who say, "Oh, drink water, take this pill, etc"--that doesn't work, and if they did that and took the test and got a negative result, it was just luck. It takes about 4 weeks for marijuana to get out of your system.
