I had this at a party and we dipped hard bread sticks in it. Could have had green onion. Anyone know this recipe?

This blue cheese dip
12 ounces blue cheese
4 ounces cream cheese
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons dry white wine
pepper, to taste

Combine blue cheese and cream cheese in a medium bowl; blend with a fork. Blend in milk, wine, and pepper. Spoon into a serving dish.. Serve with chips, vegetable dippers, or crackers.

Makes about 2 1/4 cups of blue cheese dip.

Those are the ingredients I use for cheeseballs at Christmas. Whatever amount of cream cheese I use, I also mix in 1/4 of that amount of blue cheese. This and the green onions make a great tastng ball. I guess you could add milk to thin it for a dip.

Since you mentioned that it could have been green onion, I am going to suggest that it might have been Herbed Sour Cream-Blue Cheese dip. here is the recipe.
