First of all, you need to be disabled and if you are trying to get it for diabetes, you might as well stop now. Diabetes is not considered a disability unless you have lost body parts or eyesight due to the condition. If you are able to walk and work, then you are considered able bodied. Otherwise, go to the social security office and they will help you start the claim. Or if you choose, a lawyer specializing in disability can help you. Good luck.

If you mean disability, find your local SS office and start the process.

If you mean diabetes, you don't want to go about and get it. It is a debilitating disease. And if not taken care of will leave you with a disability.
