Absolutely! It's not too much tho, you need to eat this meal at least 5 times a day to gain a balanced source of nutrients.

Looks health enough.

Protein from both the tofu and the black beans
Vitamins and minerals from the veges
Fiber in the Stalks
Missing a little fat, (body still needs some fat - Un sat, olive oil, soybean oil etc.

I would eat this, maybe not as much but I am not a vegan or a vege so I would have a little meat as well, sorry.

Calories, I am not sure depends if you have Cooked the veges, what the weight of the slice of Tofu, and how much beans. But I would say not bad.

Good Luck

Mark

It's complete nutrition but you need to spice it up a bit. Make your meals palatable by making some sauces to go on your beans. Add some nuts in. Maybe make a black bean burrito.

Oh and steam your cauliflower and broccoli or stir fry it with the tofu. Check the site out below it will give you some delicious ideas:

Also you can look in my blog along with the other Veg'ans blogs that I am connected too.

I don't mean to offend or discourage you. I just want to give you some ideas that will make you veganism enjoyable. It will be hard to stick too if your meals aren't flavorful enough.

random food combinations you have going on there! lol love it.
to answer your questions:
`no, i do not think hat is too much. its perfect!
`yes, you have a decent/great amount of protein in that meal..about 7grams from the black beans(looks like 1/2 a cup to me), and about 5-8grams in that little slice of tofu <3. and maybe 3-5 grams in the bread. and veggies have protein too, believe it or not! :)
`yess i sure would and i'd enjoy this meal with a fruit smoothie on the side! :o)
`idk how many calories. but there is definitely no "empty calories"..they all come from good nutrients and vitamin and will do the body gooood, so don't even worry about calories if you always eat like this (healthy&vegan:) :p
`to make it healthier you should replace that white flour bread(looks like it is, right?) with a couple slices of whole wheat bread instead. :)
bon'appetite! xoxooxox

I'd have steamed the broccoli and cauliflower, marinated the tofu in fat-free ranch dressing, toasted the bread and added cheese and a tiny bit more fat-free ranch dressing then put the veggies on the toasted bread with the tofu. The beans...I'm not much for beans. OK, red beans and rice but I'm from New Orleans so I'm biased on that one. I'm working up to black beans, lentils etc.

I guess I'm saying that it's a matter of presentation more than anything. Good mix of foods, but it needs to be prepared right :D

Well, my first thought is that you certainly have a lot of roughage in there...between the beans, the broccoli and the cauliflower! You definitely have the protein in there, but I would replace the cauliflower with another color - such as steamed or roasted butternut or acorn squash...those are vitamin packed and will add into the nutrients without loading you down with all that roughage!

seems wholesome, yet could be a sprint too plenty. be valuable to no longer eat too rapid, it takes the food 5 minutes to attain your stomache. so which you won't sense comprehensive till it certainly reaches the stomache. and additionally: i does no longer eat it by way of fact I despise vegetables.

To someone who is used to a diet filled with fats sugars etc, like burgers, fries and vanilla shakes, this won't look good.
But for healthy people like Veg*ns, it looks absolute stunning!

I would absolutely not eat that. It's a nightmarish carb-fest with very little to tempt my palate.

I would rather eat a very small steak and nothing else, than dive into that plate of food. Come to think of it, I'd rather eat a large steak and a green salad.

Even if you disagree with me, just leave off the bread. Bread has practically no nutritional value whatever. It will only make you put on weight. Other than that, it looks healthy but in no way appetising.
