TC HDL Risk, in a blood test, what does this mean?

TC= total cholesterol
HDL = high density lipoproteins = good cholesterol

Having high total cholesterol is generally not a good thing, but having high amounts of HDL seems to be beneficial, so there is a score that is used to take both of these things into account.
