She's got great experience & credentials in wines, that's probably why she got the task. But she is rude, arrogant and cheeky.

They should have chosen a food critic though, even Nigella Lawson would have been a much better choice. Easier on the eyes at least!

she is no chef but has a very specialist pallete with that skill she has for wine tasting.

I dont like her as a person but i do feel she is a good balance as a judge as the other 2 are chefs. she bases her opinions based on the taste only rather than the technique.

I wondered about that myself. I just keep wondering how she stays so thin if she's a gourmet!! She did present the Good Food programme for years though, so she must know a fair bit, even though she isn't a chef.

yes indeed dont like her. in answer to the person who said how does she stay thin, in the film Ratatouille when the critic anton ego is asked how he stays thin, he says he spits and doesnt swallow. she doesnt look like she would swallow anything!

She has an educated palate so is probably a good choice
