IF HE HAS CHLAMYDIA THIS SHOULD SHOW YOU THAT HE IS SLEEPING AROUND. EACH TIME WITH ANYONE YOU HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX YOU ARE TAKING A CHANCE. YES THEY WOULD TELL THE MOTHER IF THE BABY IS HIV POSITIVE. RUMORS DO GO AROUND. BUT YOU NEED TO GO TO YOUR DOCTOR AND HAVE HIM RUN A HIV TEST FOR YOUR OWN WELL BEING AND PEACE OF MIND. NEVER EVER HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX. YOU ARE SIGNING YOUR LIFE AWAY EACH TIME YOU DO, REMEMBER IT JUST TAKES THAT ONE TIME. GO TO THE DOCTOR, ALWAYS HAVE PROTECTED SEX, AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY, HE IS A PLAYER

If you got chlamydia from him, you could also get AIDS from him. The chances of getting AIDS from a single act of sex are THOUGHT to be low... but honestly, no one really knows for certain.

Because the chances are low, however, the the fact that his woman doesn't have AIDS doesn't necessarily mean that he doesn't. She simply may have been lucky so far.

You should see a doctor about an HIV test. You'll probably need one now and then another one 6 months after when you had sex with him.

If you don't have a regular doctor, inquire about HIV testing at the clinic where you were treated for chlamydia. Most communities have a free HIV testing clinic available. Another place would be to check the yellow pages - check under AIDS, HIV, and human immunodeficiency virus.

Good luck! And no more sex without a condom!

i think you should get tested for HIV. yes, it's scary but it's for your own peace of mind. you can't assume that if his family is healthy, he also is... who knows?!!! if you're worried about gossips too, i think you can have the test done discretely by choosing an alias, choosing anonimity, ordering a do-it-yourself HIV test kit or just have it tested in another town where no one knows you. and besides, i believe that medical information is strictly confidential. if ever the test would turn-out positive (i hope not), it's not the end of your life. there's no cure yet but if it's treated early... and with proper care and medications, your chance of survival is still good. if it's negative, thank God and be more careful next time.

You should get a complete check up with a gynecologist. Tell them about possible exposure and get anything cleared up.

Good luck. Your odds of getting HIV from an infected guy in a single act of sex is about 1 in 400 so it is pretty low.

if you caught chlamidya from him then it is possible you caught HIV from him,
unfortunately, not all expectant mothers have hiv tests so just because he has a child does not mean he doesn't have hiv
the best thing you can do is get a test otherwise you will worry about this forever
good luck

The possible option in this case would be to go to your local Doctor or hospital and get tested before it gets too late. this mistake should be a learning point for you.
