I have tried candymaking sites, candle sites, and jello sites, and they have some neat stuff, but they are all too little. I don't want to pay $100 for a real ice sculpture. I would like something taller than 1 foot.

I'm a Catholic, and I would LOVE to see an ice sculpture of the Madonna and Child (the Virgin Mary is commonly called the Madonna when she's with the baby Jesus) ... and it's 'melting' would make it even more special to me. I'm sorry you couldn't do this ... but keep trying, because frankly, being Politically Correct just SUCKS sometimes ... as is illustrated by your desired sculpture and being told it's Politcally Incorrect. BAH HUMBUG. Christmas is the celebration of the BIRTH of the baby Jesus ... and we can't show a depiction of the mother and child because it's not politically correct. Thank you for being a good and sensible Pagan, and showing people how 'ridiculous' this politically correct business is.

Ice sculptures are never made by mold, especially silicone. It compromises integrity and transparency.

If made in a mold, the ice that comes out is opaque and turns to slush much quicker then normal ice sculptures.

100$ is a fair price considering what the people have to go through to make it!

Ah ha, found this site to be helpful. If not what you are looking for - try the one below.

I didn't see any Christmas molds here but they would be a great source to lead you to where you can find them. Good luck!

why not just try and make one yourself? know anyone with a chainsaw that can help you? it wouldn't be too hard to cut out the shape of a Christmas tree or something. maybe you can freeze the ice yourself into a block and put some kind of colored decorations inside?
