It means you are a moron for buying a shirt without understanding what it meant.

Why did you buy the shirt if you don't know what it means? It's an anti-veg*an statement. Meat eaters, in an attempt to justify their food choices, will snark at us vegans for "killing plants." Never mind that the animals they eat have to eat, too, and it takes three to sixteen pounds of plants to produce a pound of animal flesh; we veg*ans are merciless plant killers. And the people who ask this question think they're so clever, even though the most cursory search of YA would reveal that this question has been asked numerous times.

I think the shirt is funny.. I as a vegan I would wear it. Yeah I find the lack of thought on what a live feeling creature goes through so it can be eaten by a human interesting.

its just a way that non-vegs, get back at vegs for saying 'how many animals had to die for ur....chicken salad?!" or something like that. bad example but....
but the thing is, we can grow plants. we cannot just make animals. there are so many endangered and extinct animals so ppl shouldn't be another reason for that.

It's a joke. It's a shirt making fun of the rude statements that vegetarians/vegans sometimes make to meat eaters about their food choices. It's basically saying, if you cut me down by saying I'm a murderer of animals, I'm going to call you a plant murderer.

Why did you buy a shirt that you didn't know what it meant?

It is poking fun at people who think it is wrong to eat animals by saying they killed veggies for their salad (you pick veggies and they no longer grow so technically you have killed them)

It means that plants also had to die for you to eat them. But they have no central nervous system so they don't feel pain. That's why vegetarians can eat them.

its pointed at vegetarians, you know how they say how many pigs (or w/e) had to die to feed yourself. and your just saying the same thing. except with vegetables.

Its an anti-vegan thing...they ask about animals dying for food, leather or fur...but they forget that VEGGIES are alive too.
