Whoever told you that being a vegetarian is unhealthy obviously has never done his or her homework. Eating fruits and veggies rather than rotting animal carcass is always the healthier alternative. No vegetarian has ever suffered from lack of protein... there's plenty of protein in leafy greens, tofu, etc. They have low cholesterol (thanks to no greasy burgers) and it also keeps the pounds off.
Really, there's no downside to being a vegetarian!
