A very good chance. The cold sore does not have to be visible to spread. the time frame is not that important it's the contact.

It doesn't have to be noticeable to be contagious. A herpes virus is always contagious whether it is visable or not. Please read the last paragrah carefully, and you will see it can be transmitted this way.
Genital herpes is a contagious viral infection that affects an estimated 45 million Americans (more than one in five). Each year, as many as 1 million new cases are believed to occur. The infection is caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV). There are two types of HSV and both can cause the symptoms of genital herpes. HSV type 1 most commonly causes sores on the lips (known as fever blisters or cold sores), but it can cause genital infections as well. HSV type 2 most often causes genital sores, but it also can infect the mouth. The virus remains in certain nerve cells of the body for life, causing periodic symptoms in some people. Many people who are infected with HSV never develop any symptoms.
How is genital herpes transmitted?
The infection is usually acquired by sexual contact with someone who has genital herpes. People with oral herpes can transmit the infection to the genital area of a partner during oral-genital sex. Herpes infections also can be transmitted by a person who is infected with HSV but has no noticeable symptoms. Such asymptomatic shedding of the virus may be fairly common, occurring from 5 percent to 20 percent of the time in infected individuals.

yes, oral herpes can be spread to the genitals, where it does become genital herpes, that is why, if you have a history of cold sores, you should not do oral sex, at all, period, finito. You begin to shed the virus for one week before a sore ever shows up, and for three weeks after the sore has healed. So, you never can know for sure when you are not shedding the virus. Frankly, you need to warn her that you got a cold sore and she may develop herpes in her genital region. If you were active, there is a very good chance you passed the virus to her.

There is a chance of spreading it although I couldn't tell you the percentage. Best to avoid any contact from start to finish of a cold sore. Having either oral herpes or genital herpes does leave you less disposed to catching the other, but you are certainly able to transmit it.

I got clinically diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about six years ago, when I was still attending college and had a stupid one-night stand. I just made a massive mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone that has sores around her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this video everything changed https://tr.im/CureHerpes2o15ga5V
Not only was I able to clear away all traces of the hsv from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the man of my dreams. This method provided me the opportunity to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the whole World.

What is that? You're only spending 5 minutes on the southern region? Cold sore or not, you should spend a minimum of 10 minutes. Also, what are you thinking, going down on the love of your life with the hint of a herpes cold sore on your lip? Don't try to spread your disease, keep it to yourself.

If you had even the beginnings of a cold sore, then you could very easily have spread it to any other mucus membrane, including genitals. Length of contact makes no difference. One second the same as an hour.
