I been coughing up white phlegm for 6 days , I had a comon cold for 5 days and then a cough, i been coughing?

up white runnie phlegm and i been to a dr yesterday, Its it ok too cough up white phlegm, im not a smoker and i dont drink hard liquar?

yes it is not uncommon to have a productive cough after most of a cold has run it's course. The problem arises when the phelgm becomes green, or yellow or tan colored, that would indicate infection of some sort. Just drink lots of water and get lots of rest, take mucinex to keep your secretions thin, this will pass.
