my boyfriend gets splitting headaches after he jacks off, pain to the point of tears. this has happened before, and i'm worried that there might be something wrong. the pain is in the right side of his head, and it's really bad for about five minutes, then it fades to a normal headache. it's not a migraine, he's had those enough to be able to tell teh difference. We're just not sure what it is. any ideas? do you think there's any association with the fact that it happens after he jacks off?

These headaches are not from STD.

There is a poorly understood type of headache called post-coital headache which is basically a terrible headache after orgasm. It's not dangerous but obviously it's quite unpleasant. What you describe sounds a lot like this... the trouble is that post-coital headache can only be diagnosed after a doctor has had a careful examination to exclude other, more serious, causes of headache.

A visit to a sympathetic doctor is in order.

After the rape, did she go to the Doctor and have a rape kit done? has she reported this to the police? If she were pressing charges this should already have been done. When the Doctor/Nurse does the rape kit, they also test for STD's. Regardless, I wouldn't wait it out. If you can, get her to a clinic or call other Dr.'s until you find one that will see her ASAP. I'm not a Doctor, and wouldn't even want to hazard a guess as to what is going on, but seriously, she needs to seek treatment, and soon.

Unlikely to be an STD, but I would recommend seing a doctor immediately. The headache, could be related to his increased heart rate/ blood pressure.
