Ack. Forget the blue. It's so cliche. Besides, these are
ADULTS eating the food, not four year olds.
How about an "early" ( 20 years early) Super Bowl Party for the boy in 2018?
Do Chili and Fritos and all the other football party foods. You will get men to attend because they will think the theme is cool and they might even bring some good gifts.

make a blue punch and serve it in a baby bath with a rubber ducky floating around. some kind of blue chez salad, I don't think anything else blue would look too appetizing! just make whatever you normally would. you can make a blue cake though.

You can add blue jello mix to a white cake batter to make cupcakes, or a jello salad. You could also add it to cool whip as a fresh fruit dip. Get on the jello web site. I'm sure they have lots of different ideas!!! Good luck with the baby shower. Sounds like fun.

I would stay away from blue appetizers as it is the color of mold (i.e., food poisoning!). Stick with blueberries and blue icing on the desserts.

Well you can dye just about anything blue, like veggies with blue bleu cheese dip or whatever sort of dips you want. It would be easiest with a white or lite colored dip. Just a few drops of blue food coloring should do the trick.
