I am planning a birthday party, yes... I am going all out for this one! I need ideas please. It is going to be a princess theme! Everyone is asked to dress up like a princess, knight, or prince. I need ideas for center pieces for the tables, what color table clothes, plates, silverware, etc, to go with! And where to get it from! I dont want disney princess stuff! Just really pretty things. I need to figure out where I can go to get an idea to make a horse & carriage out of a pumpkin (I want it to be a veggie type things, with the dip being inside the pumpkin. I need more ideas for the food! And for decorations!! I got a background that has a pretty grass scene with a castle, so they can get their pics by it! But I need more ideas!! The more the merrier!! The price/cost doesnt matter to me!! Dont get me wrong I would love to do things without spending tons, but if I have to spend a little its ok with me! I rented a big hall, I am hoping to do it like a ball room! IDEAS PLEASE!!!

Boy a bunch of little white pumpkins and put them on the tables for a Cinderella-esque theme.

Get some gold paper and cut them in a pattern like this:
_:--:_:--:_:--:_
Staple them in a loop to make crowns. You can let the kids decorate them with jewels or metallic markers. Or, just use them as center piece accents.

For an inexpensive table cloth and runner that the kids can have fun with, put down white butcher paper and a "runner" down the center that is a rich red, blue or magenta, also made of a thinner (12"-18") strip of butcher paper. Give the kids paper cups full of crayons and let them go to town drawing their own dream castles.

Get a "thrown" for your princess at a rental store or buy one at an international theme (World Market, Bombay, etc.) store. If you can't get ahold of one, buy a large upholstered dining room chair with arms on it, spray paint it gold, and staple on some new fabric if the pattern is ugly.

Birthday Express has a lot of themed party sets. That would be helpful for the paper items, and also maybe favors and activities.
