Here's the poop.
For years now, I have been having severe reactions to eating....especially big meals...and especially after I've gone a while without eating.
What happens: I eat a nice meal. 30 minutes later, my heart begins pounding out of my chest...sometimes irregularly. I dont know much, but I know unless you've been really physically active, you shouldnt feel your heart beating like this. Also, My body gets a little tingly and I begin to get drowsy...more like malase. My breathing becomes a little labored too. Soon, I fall asleep, but only for 15-20 minutes. It is a DEEP sleep!
When I wake up my whole body is kinda numb, kinda "buzzy" and I feel like I have been drugged. It takes me forever to get out the post-nap funk. I can tell you that NO prescribed pain killers or pain meds have EVER made me feel the same kind of ssedation.
Also, if I am in a situation where I cant go to sleep (in the store or restaurant), I get dizzy and anxious and fidgety
Any thoughts?

I am type 2 diabetic. Before I found out that I was a diabetic I had many times of being very sleepy after a meal. It was a very deep sleep. It seemed my body could not get enough sleep. I would finally wake up eyes blurred. Just felt drained all over. Feeling like I took a sleeping pill, even though I hadn't. Had a hard time getting my eyes to focus and stay open.
I'm not saying you are diabetic, but you sure do have some of the symptoms. It would be wise, if you could get a hold of a blood montor to check your blood glucose before breakfast and two hours after a meal. Normal glucose levels according to my doctor is: 60 - 120. Two hours after eat, if your blood glucose is 150, that is an indicator that you are a diabetic. If you can't get a blood montor, then you should visit your doctor. Something is wrong. You really need to get to the bottom of this. Also check your blood pressure. That can cause you to be dizzy too.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.
Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

if it is hypoglycemia, you could still fall into a semi-coma. my dad died after being in a diabetic coma from his sugar being too high. he went into several semi-comas and was hospitalized from his sugar getting too low. he was termed a brittle diabetic. if you are excessively thirsty (insatiably) and you are urinating a lot or begin to have visual problems, go to an emergency room if you have to. otherwise make an appointment asap with a dr. i am sure there are people out there that love you and want you to be cared for. the pounding in your chest sounds like you were describing heart palpitations. please be seen soon.
also if it is hypoglycemia, then you should eat several high protein meals a day.

See a doctor and get a glucose tolerance test. Also, do you have what is known as the 3 polys?
Polyphagia--increased unger
Polydipsia--increased thirst
Polyuria--increased urination
And, are you a slow healer? If you answer yes to just one of these questions, you may have a problem. You don't have to have every single symptom to have the illness.

Don't ask questions that important on here! Only a true doctor could diagnose you! People here could jsut guess!
Tell your doctor the symptoms and a day later (after not eating) get a blood test!

Yes I have an idea, you have postprandial hypoglycemia. This is a case where a persons blood sugar falls precipitously after a meal. Just as you describe.

My thought is: you had better get your behind to a doctor and get checked out. I can't understand how you have gone this long with those symptoms. I would have been beating down the doctor's door if it were me. Go and get checked out. This ain't normal.

You definitely should see a doctor. If it is not diabetes, it is some ailment that needs attention.
