I know everyone has their own preferences, but I want to know which brand is really better.
I'm looking at Durex, Trojan and Kimono. Price doesn't matter as long as they have a very low breaking rate and it's something we both can enjoy.

Please tell me the pros and cons to these brands. (Sources appreciated if possible)

Thanks!

Consumer Reports rated some major brands of condoms. You can read their evaluations here http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/health-fitness/health-care/condoms-and-contraception-205/overview/ They liked Durex the best.

Trojans rated well. The only reason you see loads of people vote for them is GOOD ADVERTISING. Trojan advertises a lot, so people know about them. But Durex is way better. For one thing, Durex condoms are wider. A common complaint about Trojans is that their rings are too narrow, so they're uncomfortably tight. This can also lead to more breakage.

I liked Kimonos because they felt good for both me and my partner. But CR doesn't rate them so well.

I use Lifestyles now, but that's only because i get them free at work. They're fine, though. no complaints. No problems.

As for breakage and comfort, EVERYBODY should use condoms with water-based lube. The extra dab of Astroglide makes a world of difference. It's more comfortable for the guy,. It eases penetration for the girl. And it helps to reduce the likelihood of condom breakage.

The best most trusted brand is known as Trojan condoms never the less if you are in a monogamous relationship and your very sure that the both of you have only each other the natural way to go is the Natural Lamb skin condoms which feel way better than a rubber. But to protect your self from stds you need to use the Trojan and I suggest you practice abstinence since there is still a great and large chance of acquring many skin viruses like herpes and molluscum contagiosium.

not sure about the breakage rate, but personally i prefer the non-latex ones! durex makes some, not sure who else. they're thinner and less reactive (latex doesn't like me). my partners have commented that there's more sensation than with latex condoms.

ps; for a bit of fun, a few brands now come with a vibrating ring... oh wow!

just avoid lifestyles brand condoms, if tears and scares always equaled pregnancy... well I'd be s.o.l. at home with my ex and our half a dozen kids right now... yikes.

But yeah, I switched over to trojan and it's been going great.
