I had just been diagnosed with PID over 2 weeks ago. I started having sex after me and my husband were cured. But I still notice not pian, but sensitivity. Not pain, but sensitivity and I'm TERRIFIED that the antibiotics didn't cure it all the way evn though I took it all as I was supposed with total abstainance for the whole time. Is this normal?

I feel like this sensitivity may lead to pain! I took powerful meds for this too...Should I worry or am I paranoid?

You should have gone back for your follow-up examination to make sure your body cleared the underlying infection that caused your PID. If your infections was something like chlamydia or gonorrhea, your husband would have needed treatment, tool otherwise you'd re-acquire the infecitons and make your PID worse.

It can take time (beyond completion of antibiotics) for PID symptoms to subside. And follow-up gynecological exams can determine extent of the damage in your reproductive tract (are you going to be infertile?)

Sex itself will not make your PID recur. PID will recur if you get another infection to provoke more inflammation.

Hope all goes well with your follow-up and that you fully recover from PID with complicaitons.
