Yep.

And once the cows are "spent" they're sent off to be slaughtered just like meat cows.

You missed a step there. Cows are artificially inseminated to become pregnant. Like all mammals, cows produce milk only when pregnant to nourish their babies. However, on dairy facilities, the calves are taken away within hours of birth and the milk taken for human use. Female calves are raised to become dairy cows while males end up as veal calves. So, yeah, there's a slice of veal in every glass of milk.

And that's not even going into the hormones given to the cows to make them produce more milk or the antibiotics to counter infections from constant milking...

Cows, like all mammals, have to have a baby in order to produce milk,
Often this is done with a bull ( which is not risk free..btw) but yes sometimes artificial insemenation is udes, mostly for the safety of the cow and to improve genetics.

50% of all calves are bulls ( male) and sometimes they are raised for veal, but mostly they are either slaughtered for pet food or raised for beef.

Not all cows but a cow has to have a calf to produce the milk and i do believe they do support the veal industry but keep more then half of them or so as long as they need them. I find it kind of disgusting though.

No.
They just give them hormones in order to fool the body into thinking that they are pregnant.
They artificially inseminated the cows to produce more cows.

Yes, as mentioned, all mammals only produce milk when they have babies, including humans. Also, all mammals only consume mother's milk until old enough to have teeth and able to chew simple easy to digest foods. The never again consume mother's milk and lost the ability to digest it (called lactose intolerance by propagandists).

Yup, and also, rennet is used to make cheese, which comes from a calf's fourth stomach. So eating certain cheeses also supports the Veal Industry.

Yes, many people believe that they only need to get pregnant once but milk production wanes after a period of time and can be kept higher with more pregnancies.
