If you were to pop a genital wart what would ooze or seep out? I popped one of these bumps inside my vagina and it bled bright red blood. Are they warts? The doctors I go to tell me they're not, but I dont believe them.

I have bacterial vaginitis and vaginosis that won't go away. It's been almost a year now since I've been plauged with it. Metro Gel worked, but I only too it for 5 days and the infection came back.

Sorry I know this is long, but I just want to know. If its warts I want them frozen off because they itch and burn when I'm on my period.

Meg, if you can pop it, it's not a wart. Period. A wart does not contain anything but more wart.

The edges of the labia, between the inner and outer labia, are prone to bumps something like whiteheads only much harder to pop or burst, since they're covered by skin that's both thicker and far more sensitive. They're unrelated to acne and to vaginitis/vaginosis.

Prevention consists of cotton underwear or commando, and antibacterial soap daily. Cure is often impossible unless and until they grow large enough to cause discomfort, at which point they can be lanced and the contents expelled.

In general, you should leave them alone.

If your doctors say they are not wart, they probly are not. There are little bumps that can develop inside the vagina and they usually go away (kind of like pimples). You should not pop them because they could get infected and then you just have one problem. It could be a medication you are on causing the vaginitis and vagiosis. Stop taking any meds and clean yourself with soap and water 3 times a day. Never douch, these cause more infections, soap and water only.

What you are desribing does not sound like genital warts, vaginitis, or bacterial vaginosis. Maybe you should go to a free clinic and be seen by the doctor to better help your problem. I'm a nurse and what you describe are not the symptoms of what you think you have. Surely it should have been resolved in a year!

Genital warts don't "pop". There is NO puss or fluid in them. They are soft swellings on the skin - not boils or sores.

If you have something in your genital area that "popped" it could be a number of different things from genital herpes to ingrown hairs.

I would trust your doctor on this, but you can always get a second opinion if you wanted to. Good luck!

Im pretty sure there not warts though I may be wrong but if they are... your not allowed to use wart remover on genital areas. Maybe ask your doctor... just in case. It kind of sounds more like gonnarea or something.

Immediately go to the dr. If they are infectious, popping them will make the infection spread.
