For the past week I have had a bigger appetite and alot of "gas". I've been eating the same as before but its like im alot hungrier than before. I went to the doctor 2 weeks ago to test for it and nothing came up.

Can this be diabetes? or something else?

Dude, you dont have diabetes. The symptoms of diabetes are peeing alot, feeling thirsty or dry, losing weight, etc. I think that your just developing. Because my bro when he became 16 he started eating like a cow, but hes at a normal weight because he works out. So u need to work out, eat good, and about ur gas, you might be eating beans or something.

Did you get tested for diabetes? If not, then have it done. But being gassy is not part of diabetes, it is the food that you eat. So watch it and not sure about the hunger part. I am not a doctor and not qualified to diagnose. Can't even make an educated guess so just get the real doctor to check it out.

Depending on your age, it may be "growing pains" where your body is just adjusting. If you are past that stage, it may be stress alone, which is likely if you have been tested for other things. If it is only going on a week or so, don't worry. Remember, soda is very bubbly (gassy), chewing gum creates gas, and any food you are eating that is out of the ordinary. Just eating more than usual will give you gas! Find healthy options for what you are eating, such as fruits, sunflower seeds, etc., and by taking out the fats and grease and chemicals of fast food and processed food, you may cure yourself that day!

if thats your only symptom then i would say no you dont have diabetes...other sympoms that usually go along with excessive hunger are excessive thirst and frequent urination...another symptom is unexplained weightloss

you dont have to be obese to develop either type. type 1 diabetes isnt preventable and diet and exercise have nothing to do with whether or not you develop it. type 1's are usually thin. obesity only increases the chances of developing type 2. skinny people who eat healthy and exercise can develop type 2...its just less common

if you went to the doctor and he ordered blood tests for diabetes and it was negative, it could be stress. Stress can cause lots of symptoms in the body and can also cause overeating which in turn can cause gas.. Look into you life and see if you have been under a lot of stress lately and depressed over anything.

There are other reasons people eat and stress is one of them. Food gives people a good feeling and calms them when anxious about things. If the Dr. found no reason for your increased appetite then remember how you felt when eating and if you are eating to feel better that should be explored.

I've been a diabetic since I was 17. If it were diabetes you'd be feeling other symptoms, for high glucose levels, increased appetite and thirst, blurry vision, you'd urinate frequently, tiredness, dizziness . . . for low glucose levels, nervousness, your heart would beet very fast, hot flashes, dizziness . . . I'd say you have something other than Diabetes

no sounds as though you have gas due to something you are eating or lactose intolerance..symptoms of diabetes include but this isnt all of them...excessive thirst ..loss of weight..and you feel like you are going to pass out due to sugar drop..i dont think you are diabetic..and sometimes it takes more than one test because it can be tricky to catch in some people

It's a diabetic-like symptom. Anxiety and stress certainly can cause it. It also sounds like low blood sugar, regarding the hunger part.

If the doc tested your blood there's no way he wouldn't notice diabetes if you have it-which means you don't...Oh it's farting time again you're gonna stink me haha ya know the song?Don't worry:)
