My dad is having chest problems and mild shortness of breath. its in the middle of his upper stomach and his chest. He was feeling a lot of discomfort and pain in his neck and jaw but has said most the pain went away from his face. He is still feeling tingling/aching/ throbbing in his left arm. From what I can tell these are all signs of a heart attack and he is 49 years old But what else could it be?

You need to bring him to a hospital now or call an ambulance. What you mentioned are classic signs of a heart attack. Your first guess is always the best guess. Never doubt that.

bypass to the closest ER. they ought to manage him legally and the medical costs would be no longer something while in comparison with what they could be if he is going into cardiac arrest. He could qualify for state/federal low fee courses.
