I always told my partner to roll over and sleep on his side. This seems to work.

You should suggest that they see a doc, snoring can mean lack of air getting into the body and leads to a lack of oxygen getting to the brain.

A DEIONIZER MACHINE IN THE ROOM WITH THE PERSON WHO SNORES HELPS THE SNORING ALOT. NOT 100 % FOR EVERYONE. NOSE STRIPS HELP SOME IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD A DEIONIZER. I'M A SNORER WITH A DEIONIZER, AND A CPAP MASK ON THE WAY. MAYBE THE SNORER CAN GET IN A FREE SLEEP STUDY LIKE I DID. THAT IS HOW I GOT THE CPAP MASK. IT FORCES AIR GENTLY IN TO YOUR NOSE WHILE YOU SLEEP. I ALSO HAVE SLEEP APENIA, AND HOLD MY BREATH WHILE SLEEPING. IT IS HARD ON YOUR HEART, ETC.

Snoring can be not just a problem for you, but for the person doing it. They have found many have a sleep disorder that stops the heart and causes other issues.

They have to sleep on their sides, they can train themselves to do this. One trick is they sleep with a tennis ball sewn into the back of the t-shirt, when they roll on their back, the ball will be uncomfortable and they'll roll over.
