Mine is 119.

Right on target. I love this new pump...my sugars (except for one mishap) have been terrific since I got it.

Is everyone else doing good? Ready for the weekend?

I have a Minimed Paradigm 722. I love it...SO much better than my old Minimed 508 (now tucked into a dresser drawer). I did 8 years on the old pump...so happy to have a new one.

I'm 0.9 units per hour basal rate. My ratio is 1 unit per 12 grams of carbs with an insulin sensitivity of 40. It works for me.

I use the AccuChek Compact too! I love it...so convenient.

Just a note...for the people who insist on posting links to other sites that proclaim they have a "cure" for diabetes...when we all know there isnt one...please refrain from doing that. All it gets you is a shake of the head and a "thumbs down"...I will not even look at those links. Don't waste your time...or mine.

Good Morning EMT.

My glucose level is 109 - not too bad; but I prefer it to be around 90 or so.

I'll shortly be eating a breakfast of lowfat vanilla yogurt, along with a quarter cup (4 ounces) of applesauce (low sugar).

Due to 2 other, far more serious illnesses, I cannot eat solid foods any longer; but I manage. The biggest problem is getting enough food into me.

I can't use a pump, but that's OK; I'm used to the injections by now.

I love my meter, though. It's the Accu-chek Compact. I like that I don't have to put a test strip in the meter each time I test myself. It has a cartridge that has a bunch of test strips in it. I just drop it in, and that's it! It does make testing easier, especially if I am outdoors.

I am looking forward to the weekend. I am exhausted. My husband & I are moving to a new home next Thursday; and the apartment looks like a warehouse right now.

I think the 2 cats are in for a big surprise! They have spent the 10 years of their lives here; soon they will be in a strange place. I'll make sure I have some of their toys when I bring them over.

Anyway, I hope you and everyone else have a very nice weekend, wherever you all live.

Take care.

Mine is 91. I stay away from refined sugar and I increased the healthy fats in my diet (butter, coconut oil and cod liver oil) and my blood sugar has been great. Two hours after I eat it is still below 100. I'm on no medication. I think Drs. are wrong when the advise diabetics to eat a low fat diet. Diabetics should be eating a high fat diet.

I was 156, but that's because I was up at 4 a.m. with a low of 62. I am also on a pump (Animas IR 1250) and love it.

Was a little high this morning,158. Might have something to do with stress and anxiety over tornadoes last night. No worries, a little correction bolus and I'm back on target now.

Well mine was on the high side [155] this A M. I was maintaining a 109 avg. before this. Thanks for asking. It may have to do with the stormy weather and concern of our children yesterday.
Always ready for the weekend!!!!!!!!
