Not an accounting term used in the real world but maybe in veggie land accounting is done differently

Michael H Pedantic you may think I am but you have no idea about the use of the english language relating to accounting. You also dont appear to be able to give fully informed answer yet either. I suggest you keep self educating without reference to the rest of the world then your garbled rantings will not be understood by most people

your question seems to be a little like an in-joke that went over my head, but i'm gonna take a stab in the dark with reguards to cost profit in relationg to the veg*n view point...

perhaps someone intended to bring to light the amount of water, corn/crops, land and energy put into producing 1lb of meat, and then compare that to the price, and "profit" made on that piece of meat...

Now the meat industry does seem to be making proft, but they are helped, the goverment gives famers substities on their crops, because they actually cost more to grow than they sell them for to the meat industry... Now where does the goverment get the money to substitute them from?!?! ME and YOU baby, through our taxes!!

When you smooth it out and look at the bigger picture of how your meat gets to your plate it does apear to be somewhat of a false and unsustainable economy!

Especially when you factor in the medical cost of your average meat based diet!

You could have a less financial view of the words cost and profit? What is a world of meat production and consumption costing us... and how do we profit from it? The answer wont be nice...

hope this helped

David, Mike has not the rudimentary conception of wtf he's talking about and hence, is defensive and ranting when challenged. He can't even figure out how to post links to substantiate a quote he ALLEDGES he made, but several bright people remember otherwise ... it involves how he sells hay to people who fatten and kill cattle.

Michael ... here's a simple question that you can answer with a Yes or No ... is your "cost profit" perhaps obliquely referring to a stochastic. version of an accountant’s "break-even chart"? Yes or No??? This would clarify your incoherent "cost profit" screw-up for those of us tend to describe things more precisely.

Still looking for those links that refer to that quote that supposedly contradicts everyone's recollection of you selling your hay to killers of cattle for the meat market and all because you want to make an obscene amount of money.

cost or profit model.

Anyone with a degree of intelligence would have understood what i meant and wouldn't need to question it like a padantic child.

This question has nothing to do with the vegetarian or vegan diets and as such is posted in the wrong place

There is no point in telling me I'm insulting or rude, you views mean nothing to me nor most other people on here.

What are you talking about?

(There. Now you have a question.)

By the way, I had to take two semesters of accounting for my degree and I hate it with a passion.

yes accounting is done differently in veggie land.

words like 'cost' and 'profit' are not as important as words like 'integrity' and 'honor'.

WTF? Oh --- it's something Mike wrote ---No wonder it's mucked up.

What's Mikie talking about .. .marginality, maximization, comparative advantage???? He'd better stick to chickens, he seems to have more of a kinship with them..
