You really need to see a doctor. Don't be embarrassed or afraid. I can guarantee you that your doctor has seen it MANY times before!
As long as you see your doctor and are diagnosed with genital herpes you should have no problem getting medication for it. I was diagnosed with genital herpes 6+ years ago by my doctor. She wrote a prescription for a months worth of acyclovir with 11 refills. Once that prescription expired, my pharmacy called my doctor and got her to write for another years worth and I've been doing that ever since. So, even though I have had the virus for 6+ years, I've only been to the doctor that ONE time for it!
There are several different medications that are available with a prescription, but there really isn't much over the counter. Some people swear by lysine or other natural remedies. I've never tried them and probably never will, but it's other opinion you could look into if you wanted to.
Also, a lot of people only take anti viral medication when they are having an outbreak or "feel" an outbreak coming instead of doing a daily suppressive therapy. I ONLY take the medication when I am having an outbreak or "feel" one coming. It's too expensive to take every single day, makes me nauseous, and it's not a 100% guarantee it prevents the spread of the virus. Anti viral medication only HELPS prevent the spread of the virus - it's not a guarantee.
Good luck to you!

There are two different types of herpes. Herpes simplex type1 and type2. Type 1 is mostly combined with the mouth, type 2 with the genital area. Learn here how to cure it: https://tr.im/y8OXTX
After contracting either type, your body will produce antibodies after 39 days that will stop you from reinfecting yourself, or someone else re-infecting you. So, if you get type 1 of the mouth, during that weeks, you can re-infect yourself while shaving. Or, if you have an outbreak and touch a sore, if you touch somewhere else on your body, such as your genitals, you will contract, genital herpes, type 1. You can also get oral herpes type 2, in addition to type 1, if you perform oral sex on someone with genital herpes type two. Condoms will not completely protect you from the disease since parts of the body not covered by the condom can rub against the infected individual. Plus, if they are not having an outbreak, you do not know where the infected spots are located on their body. Herpes is a skin-to-skin transmission type disease. Though it is skin-to skin, it can be transmitted by skin-surface-skin contact. For example, sharing a drinking glass or towel. Herpes, type 1 and 2, can be passed on to others at any time, whether the infected person is having an outbreak or not. There is no cure, just antiviral medication to help treat/prevent outbreaks

Genital herpes is an infection of the skin and mucous membranes in the genital and surrounding areas caused by the herpes simplex type 1 or 2 viruses. Both types can infect the mouth or the genital area. In people under 25 years of age, herpes simplex type 1 virus is more common in genital herpes, while in people 25 years of age and older, genital herpes is most often caused by herpes simplex type 2 virus. Infection of a baby can occur during vaginal delivery if the mother has genital herpes, particularly if it is the first attack. Babies infected in this way can become severely ill. The obstetrician and midwife should be told of past genital herpes infections so the risk of this complication can be minimized.

I got identified with genital herpes (type 2) about seven years ago, while I was still attending college and had a dumb one-night stand. I realize lots of young ladies will say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a massive mistake that one time and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date men again. After all, who wants to go out with a girl who has sores around her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/Tr7w5 everything improved.
Not only was I able to eradicate all remnants of the herpes simplex virus from my system in less than three weeks, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just last week, in front of everybody in a busy cafe, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This system provided me the chance to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the World.

Treatment with antiviral drugs can help people who are bothered by genital herpes outbreaks stay symptom-free longer. These drugs can also reduce the severity and duration of symptoms when they do flare up. Drug therapy is not a cure, but it can make living with the condition easier.

I am absolutely terrified and I feel so alone. I just found out last week that I tested positive for hsv1 and 2. I have been with the same man for the past 10 years and within the last year found out that he has cheated on me with numerous women. I am so scared that I can give it to my children by kissing them and them eating with me...I feel like my whole life has changed. And even though the nurses, my doctor, and websites say that a lot of people have it I still feel like I am by myself. My self esteem has dropped and I feel like I have been used up. But now, My life is very happy.
