I have recently opened a bar in the town I live in... I am looking for ways to bring customers into the establishment. Something fun and entertaining. I will be bringing in bands, but I am looking for other ways to get them in there. The previous owner had a brash personality and ran quite a few customers away... I am looking to bring them back with more than just a "Under New Management" sign. Any ideas?

Well for one you should definitely have drink specials like Margarita Mondays or Fiesta Fridays or something were on certain nights, certain drinks are on special. You could also offer food as well as liquor. You know like, hot wings, pizza, burgers, fries, mozzarella sticks, etc. Maybe on the weekdays have bands and on the weekends have DJs. Make sure decorate the bar very nice for holidays like Halloween and Christmas. Maybe since Halloween is coming up you could do something like a costume contest party or something like that. Good luck!

Halloween is coming up. You should have a costume contest the winner can win $100 bar tab second place $50 third $25. So if they don't use it all they will be back.

A long time ago my friend won a free fajita party for 20 people it was early like 9 before the bar got busy they set up a little buffet for us.

You could have one night where girls in bikinis serve drinks and one night hot shirtless dudes serve drinks.

You should hang up fliers in the bathroom for the whole month of what is going on so people will know what nights to come back.

A local bar once had "Power Hour" 50 cent wells & drafts on at 10-11pm on Saturday. It was ALWWAYS PACKED!!

Have Monday night football & when people come in give them a ticket for a raffle during comercials give away prizes. Like a tshirt for the team thats playing, mugs, tickets to your local NFL team game. You can sell nachos & hot dogs drunks get hungry & you don't want them to leave.

Good Luck!

How about open mic nights or karaoke nights? It's a cheap way to get people in to the establishment and also provides free entertainment. You could always have an open mic competition with a $50 prize for the winner or something like that. Get the people involved and they will bring friends to watch them perform.
Good luck on your new adventure!

There is a bar/restaurant by me that offers a "girls night out" once a month. They have had an astrologer come in, they had a martini and a makeover, cute little things like that. its always packed. Try something like that. Offer drink specials during foot ball games. Cant go wrong with that.

Games like Beer Pong, darts, pool tables, pinball, etc.
Plenty of large screen TV's on the walls tuned to different sport channels are great. There is a new bar near me that has TV's at all the tables and it is always crowded.

One great thing about kids is that they do not need a lot of money to have a great time. One game you can play is an original game I made up myself. they have to take a patriotic song and make their own rendition of it ! Another game you can play is dress up relay.Another game I made up which may sound different, but is actually a great game , is called well it does not have a distinct name , but here is what you do. Kids close their eyes and swim around in the water , trying to find rocket balloons , which can be purchased at walmart for 88c which are actually balloons that you blow up that make loud noises after their let go after being blown up, so kids can make their own little "fireworks".
