The "new" psuedoephedrine in most cold medicines does not work as well according to most. You can try it. The over the counter Sudafed says PE on it. It stands for Phenylephrine HCl.

Afrin does work wonders however it is highly addictive. Do not use if for more then 72 hours. Otherwise you will become dependent on it.

You can try Muscinex also know as Guifinisen.

Of course the best non medication treatment for congestion is being properly hydrated. The better hydrated your body is the less thick the mucus will be.

Benadryl allergy and sinus works for me.
If you go to Walmart or a drugstore, just look a little and you'll find a lot of them that don't have psued. since it is regulated now.
