There are a few different ways to treat yeast infections.

You can go to your local drug store/pharmacy and purchase over the counter products like Monistat.

You can also go to the doctor and get prescription medication like Fluconazole (brand name: Diflucan).

Yogurt also helps fight a yeast infection and helps prevent yeast infections. I wouldn't rely on it to cure one though! Yogurt contains live active culture in it which helps balance the "good" bacteria and the "bad" bacteria which are both naturally found in the vagina.

Good luck to you!

NO unfortunately.. Go to a pharmacy, they have plenty of over the counter meds for this these days and also eat plenty of yogurt with ACTIVE cultures. If your not quite sure about what kind of meds at the drug store ask a pharmecist. Good luck, you 'll be fine.

Oh and by the way, yeast infections are not STDS.

Vaginal yeast infections can be treated at home with an over the counter vaginal cream for yeast infections. (In the US) They generally don't go away on thier own, but can be easily treated.

NOOOOOOOO! it doesn't go away on it own! Get the monastat 1 day and try that. do it before bed or it makes a mess! If that doesn't work call the Dr and they can write a script for a pill!

go to the doctor and they can give you a pill. it is called fluconazole (brand name diflucan in the U.S.) and it works within a day or so and no messy cream stuff. if you don't want to go to a doctor then try an OTC medicine like monostat, it is a cream.
