In catering a small reception the host wants a martini bar. I need to know what appetizers, finger foods, etc. pair up well with martinis. Thank you for your response!

When I think of Martini's, I think of elegant finger food that brings out the best in the drink and the flavor of the food. Here are some ideas:

1. Crab salad on individual romaine lettuce leaves
2. Cavier and/or blini's
3. Homemade parmesan crackers
4. Cream cheese and hot pepper jelly on ritz crackers
5. Salmon mousse on cucumber slices
6. Cheese platter with brie, cambozola, manchenga and lavosh crackers.
7. Olive tray
8. Thin slices of roastbeef topped with a creme fraiche horseradish sauce on top of thinly sliced baguette
9. A variety of salted nuts
10. Asparagas cooked crisp tender and wrapped with prosciutto.
11. Melon spears with prosciutto
12. Goat cheese and sliced figs on brioche

Depends on the Martini. A lot of cocktails are being called Martinis if they come out of a shaker. I like salty and hot spicy things with my alcohol. Mixed nuts, potato chips with a ranch dip, deviled eggs, shrimp cocktail, large pitted black olives.
