Wow! Did you ever think that if you created the car you are looking for you could solve 2 problems? One cleaning up the environment and two, grow out of poverty?
Why do you think others should do this work?

They are working on it.The University of Utah has been working on it since the late 70's.The first trials made an electric car that went 40 miles. The distinct now is a 150 miles.Cost of the battery's is a big problem. And very little is off the shelf parts.Machining a part the first time has a large cost.Ford did not start with a cheep car.He made it cheep by making all the parts a like and creating the ability to mas produce each part. and then send them down a Assembly line.Lite Rail is the best answer. There was a time when Trains whore used to transport people. We need to return to that transportation.

There have been inventions in the past to provide a more green vehicle, but our government is controlled by oil companies. There was a company who invented the most advanced long lasting rechargeable batteries and they were going to start implementing them in vehicles. Our government changed their focus on border security cameras and I never heard about them again.

It's called a crusher.
The greenest car is one that does not exist. Did you know that it takes far, far more energy to build a car than it will ever use?
Skip the second car and keep the old one going ( in good repair) is the greenest alternative.

We think that buildings should be redesigned so you can live where you work. Then you would have less need of driving at all.
Thanks for asking.
