About two weeks ago my labia were red and very very itchy, but with no bumps or blisters or anything.. then i got my period for three days and the symptoms completely disappeared in this time. then a day after my period ended i developed a rash between my anus and vagina, it is red and very dry with small red bumps (kinda like a diaper rash) and that has been there for over a week without changing at all..its not itchy or painful.. and i recently broke out in a rash on my arms and stomach too. does this sound like herpes? i am sexually active. I had a doctors appointment but i got a call today saying he was sick so i had to reschedule for next week.... but im really scared

go to planned parenthood to get an appointment sooner. could be herpes, could be something else, best to get to a dr. sooner than later and planned parenthood usually can see you pretty quickly.
here's a website that might help you see if your symptoms match up, but nothing can replace a dr. visit to find out for sure and get treatment for whatever it is...
best of luck.

I got clinically diagnosed with herpes (type 2) about 3 years ago, when I was still attending college and had a silly one-night stand. I realize loads of girls say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date guys again. After all, who wants to go out with someone that has sores around her private parts? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/38J2W everything got better.

Not only was I able to remove all traces of the hsv from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just last week, in front of everybody in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This system provided the chance to be happy and experience true love again. Now I hope that I can help others too by sharing this story.

It doesn't sound like herpes but you have to be sure. Go to any Planned Parenthood office and they will test and help you and charge you only what you can afford. It's a great organization. Many wonderful gynecologists work with them and all are kind, discreet and will not make you feel shame, etc.

It sounds more like an allergic reaction to something. If I were you I would not wait for your doctor but rather go to the ER and get checked out. If it is herpes you don't want to have to suffer another week.

herpes is usually supposed to be really itchy, and if you broke out in other areas like arms and stomach, it sounds like something else. Herpes usually looks like one or two lumps like pimples not small red bumps. This doesn't sound like herpes...

Does not sound like herpes.
Herpes are blisters and can cause tremendous pain and discomfort when the blisters pop.

Actually, you can get eczema in the genital area too.

Pee in the woods lately? Sounds alot like a poison ivy rash I got from doing that once. I had to take steroids. It was HORRIBLE! Go to the doctor no matter what!
